Just been interviewed by @piersmorgan about using gender-neutral language for God. It will be on @PiersUncensored some time after 8pm. I said I call God "father", "mother" and "parent". I suspect you can guess what Piers thought. #GodIsGenderNeutral

I'm happy to refer to God as "he", "she", "they" or simply as "God". Christianity does *not* regard God as male or female. God is not a man with a beard in the sky. God is an active power who is present with us as we strive for love and justice. #GodIsGenderNeutral
