The separatist region #Somaliland has long been accused of having deep ties with the terrorist group #Alshabaab. Almost all of the current and former leaders of AS are from Somaliland regions including, the notorious butcher of #Mogadishu, Mr #Godane who was killed in a U.S. air strike in 2014. The current leader of the group is non other than #AdanSune, a man who travelled from #Hargeisa with his entire family, in March 2022, to the #jilib the capital of AS to take the leadership of the group. Also, SL is one of the main financiers of the terror activities in southern Somalia in order to prolong & perpetuate chaos in Somalia. Their strategy is to exploit any available opportunity that can keep the south in never ending cycle of lawlessness. There is also very well organized campaigns led by #EdnaAdan intended to tarnish Somalia's name by always linking Somalia with terrorism, piracy, and chaos-three key elements central to Somaliland-Al-Shabaab collaboration against Somalia's state building efforts while portraying the one clan enclave as democratic stable state.
