🦁 It was a lesson in "decontextualization". Carey called me a "coward" for not responding to one of his X post. The Cowardly Carey left out the part that he blocked me on X (notice that he did not tag me).

UPDATE: The @SLCountyGOP Central Committee's motion to restore the ousted GOP members to full fellowship, failed with a tie vote of 126 to 126.
🏫 Here is my interpretation of events, looking at it through the lens of my service on the @slcschools Board of Education. Chairman Mike Carey manipulated the Committee by deploying a series of tactics that I would characterize as Judgement & Social (Cognitive) Biases. I share two of them here:
👮♂️ CONFIRMATION BIAS – Hiring a private security guard to stand at the entrance of the building next to a “wanted poster” displaying 7 of the 8, ousted members. Being greeted with this information, Committee members are more likely to seek out, notice and interpret information that confirms that the 7 are guilty as charged and not worthy of associating with others in the GOP.
⚓️ ANCHORING BIAS – On the agenda, the item to reconsider restoring the ousted members provides links to Chairman Carey’s narrative with no information provided from the 8. Committee members will most likely rely on the first piece of information received, the "anchor," when making decisions. This is a cunning parliamentary trick to introduce an extreme or misleading piece of information on the agenda, which then dictates the focus of the discussion and sets the benchmark for all subsequent decisions in the meeting.

I don’t know yet. I’m not a delegate. So far, I’m a hard no on @RepMikeKennedy. I won’t vote for people who support open borders and abusers.
