Also from @drlisataylor - some students get near end of medical/related degree & realise it's not for them - important to show them how can apply skills/knowledge outside of trad. career path #grademploy19 - also applies to students who realise their vocation is not e.g. teaching
This has come up again in the Q's this afternoon - important issue #GradEmploy19
Consistent theme of #grademploy19 that students see University as key to their future employment & apply on this basis. But (as discussed in break with @stujohnson & others) sometimes/often hard to generate student engagement w/ #employability provision
Important point from @drlisataylor - even with high performing progs eg medicine and related, important that grads are getting jobs they *want* - & if not, 15-month GO's survey results might show dip from prior DLHE #GradEmploy19

I've spent #dallowayday for the last few years at #employability events which seems (sort of) appropriate, what with #aroomofonesown and all - 'Writer' would def count as a #graduateoutcome, and £500pa in c.1930 would be £30k in 2019 - good for #LEO... #grademploy19
