On June 18, @CaritasRwanda’s #Graduation_Project oversaw the distribution of Non-Food items at the #NkamiraRefugeeTransitCenter. These items included:
▪️ 385 bed covers;
▪️ 774 pairs of bed sheets;
▪️ 34 buckets;
▪️ 100 pairs plastic sleepers.
In line with this year's theme, "Solidarity with Refugees", on 20/06, @CaritasRwanda, under the #Graduation_Project joined @RefugeesRwanda, @EmergencyRwanda, @KireheDistrict and other implementing partners in #MahamaCamp and host community to celebrate the #WorldRefugeeDay 2024.

Today, 48 SILC groups with 944 #Graduation_Project participants in Mahama Camp & its host community shared over Frw 285M. This includes Frw 225,149,230 in savings & Frw 60,370,570 in interest (in 1 year). They are now transitioning into cooperatives to become more self-reliant.
In the JADF @KireheDistrict Open day held from 28-30 May, @CaritasRwanda was awarded a trophy as the 2nd exhibitor, for promoting economic development to #Mahama Refugee Camp & Host community vulnerable households under the #Graduation_Project funded by @RefugeesRwanda. @DRC_ngo
On 28/05, 18 #Kiziba camp & host community SILC groups with 422 members, supported by @CaritasRwanda's #Graduation_Project funded by @RefugeesRwanda, have shared Rwf 81,340,853 which includes Rwf 62,651,100 in savings & Rwf 18,689,753 in interest, all generated within one year.
In 2022 & 2023, 1,613 income-generating activities were established as part of the #Graduation_Project by @CaritasRwanda funded by @RefugeesRwanda, contributing to promoting resilience and self-reliance among refugees & host communities.

Fr Oscar Kagimbura, SG of @CaritasRwanda, visited the #Mahama refugee camp on 11 October to see Caritas Rwanda's interventions under the #Graduation_Project. He also paid a courtesy visit to the @RefugeesRwanda sub-office in the @KireheDistrict and the MINEMA office in the camp.
Today, in #KizibaCamp, @CaritasRwanda through its #Graduation_Project started a 3-day Refresher Training of 229 beneficiaries (160 refugees & 69 HC members) on saving culture and self-employment for financial independence and self-reliance. @RefugeesRwanda @RwandaEmergency
For the purpose of post-distribution monitoring of cash grants to the 2023 project participants, @CaritasRwanda's #Graduation_Project is conducting field visits in the Kiziba camp and its host community (@KarongiDistrict) from August 8–9, 2023. @RwandaEmergency @RefugeesRwanda
Through the #Graduation_Project, @CaritasRwanda is taking part in the 4-day exhibition organized by @WVRwanda starting on August 8 in Mahama Refugee Camp along with other partners working on livelihood projects in the camp. @RefugeesRwanda @RwandaEmergency
