BPN Rwanda hosted the 1st Cohort Celebration for entrepreneurs completing two years under the Step-Up program of the Grow to Scale initiative, in partnership with the @MastercardFdn.
The cohort includes 46 youth-led bootstrapper SMEs from Kigali (41.7%) and Musanze (58.3%) across agriculture, tourism, hospitality, and adjacent sectors, who began their journey facing limited access to finance, inconsistent markets, and operational inefficiencies.

What’s really holding businesses back from inclusive hiring? Are those barriers real or perceived?
The Inclusive Entrepreneur event convened Topify Program entrepreneurs, under the #Grow2Scale Consortium in partnership with the @MastercardFdn, to explore this question head-on.
During these sessions, participants explored the program’s key focus areas, understanding the importance of scaling for 'gazelle' businesses, and heard inspiring success stories from past participants who have grown through Topify program.

In the afternoon, entrepreneurs gathered for a networking lunch at @nyurahkigali with our Country Director @AliceNkulikiyi1, where honest conversations unfolded about the realities of business growth.

The event brought together 50 entrepreneurs under the #Grow2Scale program, alongside mentors and alumni, to connect, learn, and share.
Participants engaged in networking sessions, themed roundtable discussions, and impactful testimonials, all centered on why thoughtful business planning is the foundation for scaling sustainably.
Through collaboration, mentorship, and insight sharing, the event empowered entrepreneurs to take actionable steps in their business journeys.
