#HAALSA invites members & friends to our March lecture, “Folkways & Superstitions in Scottish/Celtic Diaspora” at 7:30pm(EST) next Sat, March 19th. Communities in Canada & around the world bridge the geographical gaps in global diasporas by celebrating their heritage & culture.
Belated but no less sincere THANKS to last Saturday's #HAALSA speaker, mural artist Lester Coloma! He gave us a fascinating look into his process and portfolio, with images from several works Hamilton residents probably recognized without knowing whose efforts they were seeing.
#HAALSA welcomes artist Lester Coloma for “Connecting People to Spaces,” next Saturday, February 26 @ 7:30pm (EST). Mr Coloma is an advocate & master of the ancient & ongoing practice of mural painting - bringing art to public spaces.

This Sat, Dec 4, #HAALSA welcomes Dr Herb Schellhorn and his lecture entitled “Vitamin C in History, Art, and Medicine.” In it, he’ll discuss the evolutionary changes to human physiology that have affected our Vit C requirements & our changing understanding of it as a nutrient.
