We explored what makes Europe special, the state of technology in Europe and where we should go from here.

Drawing on discussions at the FORECAST and STEADINESS workshops at #HiPEAC25, the TechNexus Programme white paper sets out a series of recommendations for the development of complex and critical systems – an area with significant potential for Europe.
The white paper's authors are Spyros Lalis, Danh Le Phuoc, Alois Zoitl, Octavian Fratu and Charles Robinson. The paper was developed with the support of the following projects: @mlsysops , Arrowhead, SMARTY Chips JU Project, @energyecseu, @SmartEdge_EU , ISOLDE, and HiPEAC.

The second day of the HiPEAC was full of energy: an inspiring keynote by Giovanni De Micheli (EPFL) followed by a full programme of technical sessions. Students taking part in the STEM Student Day had the chance to get up close and personal with companies from Axelera AI to ZeroPoint Technologies, and find out about career options.
