#OTD in 1954, #HMCSVenture was commissioned in Esquimalt, BC, as the RCN Junior Officer Training Establishment. 462 Officer-Cadets graduated from Venture during its 14 years of existence following its motto of “A New Undertaking, to Dare and Not to be Afraid”.
