Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that preliminary reports confirm that the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) carried out a large-scale operation in Saudi Arabia in response to the attack on #Hodeidah.
In detail, the Saudi-led coalition had announced early Saturday that it carried out a "proportionate military response" against "legitimate military targets" in #Yemen's western Hodeidah province.
The coalition's Joint Forces Command alleged that the operation did not target Hodeidah Port, claiming that all Yemeni ports remain open for maritime navigation.
It added it would continue taking operational measures to protect Saudi vessels, the kingdom's interests, and its assets.
The statement came after reports from Al Mayadeen's correspondent and Yemen's SABA news agency that Saudi warplanes carried out a series of strikes in Hodeidah, including attacks on the port area, telecommunications facilities in Hodeidah city, and Kamaran Island.
In this context, the Yemeni Armed Forces are expected to deliver a statement at 3 pm about "significant and large-scale military operations".
