Yugson is the legendary street dancer Hobi chose to feature in the House dance episode of Hope On The Street. He imparted words of wisdom to Hobi during the episode and they danced to "I Don't Know" by j-hope with Yunjin together
Other great street dancers also commented on his post like professional house dancer Kazane Kasai whom Hobi learned House dance in 2018 and Gucchon - the mentor Hobi featured in the Osaka episode of HOTS docuseries.
It is beautiful to see these people Hobi looked up to when he was a young boy being featured in his passion project - Hope On The Street. How can we forget when J.Cole posted a photo of OTS and said" J-HOPEx Cole Hyung( had to Google "hyung" can I refer to myself as that?) Thanks for having me, brother. +

#HOTSthread 📍j-hope's HOTS Mural in Brooklyn, New York is not just in any street, its location is intentional, situated in the most famous STREET ART neighbourhood called - The BUSHWICK COLLECTIVE.
Knowing j-hope is a lifelong learner, studied the roots of hip-hop & really prepared for his project, he knew that graffiti is one of the four elements of the hip-hop culture. What could be more fitting than to have a mural right in the city where it originated.
Placing this mural in the most famous art area (Troutman Street) in Brooklyn is more than just marketing for j-hope. If you observe the mural, it can also be a message of HOPE he wants to convey. Aside from the big H logo & some "J", the word " HOPE" was written several times and the message " HOPE on the street" is clearly visible even from a distance.
I think from the general public's pov, it can be a sincere message first before it's a promotion. The bar code does lead to Amazon but really, GP passing by may not have a barcode reader handy to see what's in there😅. But worry not, the brand "HOPE on the Street" with its attractive design and colors alone already leaves a lasting impression! +

#HOTSthread Let's look back in 2022-2023 : A reminder of how THE j-hope we know is a planner, very efficient and with impeccable time management skills. It may take a village to create HOPE ON THE STREET, but the center of it all is the genius man who conceptualized this idea from scratch.
A snippet from his album says he only got 3 weeks to prepare. Preparation is only the first phase, the execution, and then the editing ( which he is also part of😻) are a few more phases he needs to go through in a short amount of time.
Q : The idea for Hope on the Street first came to you when you were shooting a behind-the-scenes video at the 2022 Mama Awards. Three weeks later, you started filming. Isn’t that really a short time to prepare?
J : Yes. It is. I didn’t have more than about three weeks to prepare for the project. We were kind of winging it when we got started. I didn’t realize there were so many details to go through and things to prepare. But I think we did a good job taking things on as they came. I think we did a good job showing the raw feeling for some parts. I don’t have any regrets about it. Maybe part of the appeal is that it’s .. no frills? Casual? ( laughs)

J: It’s hard to capture that rawness. I couldn’t have done it alone. If it weren’t for you and your lifelong love for dance, I never would’ve been able to keep things on track. I think your expertise and your guidance helped turn out all the better. And, best of all, dancing with you again after all the time gave me a chance to reflect on myself. Do you feel like anything about you changed after doing this? And if they did, then what
K: the best thing was just getting to do it with you. For a while, we had no choice but to stay in Korea because of the pandemic, but before that our whole life was traveling, we would visit some country and there’d always be someone like Gucchon, Link, or Yugson to meet up with. I saw people like them at least once a year. It was really nice to have a chance to see them after all this time, but it’s not like it was anything new (laughs). But it was fun to see them with you and see what’s important to them now and how they’ve changed We talk a lot on this journey didn’t we?
