#WesternSyria | #HamaCS: Another sectarian terrorist attack in the Masyaf countryside of Hama province, critically injuring two brothers from the Alawite sect.
Terrorists on motorcycles opened fire on brothers Ali al-Dardari and Mohsen al-Dardari while they were working on their farmland, seriously wounding them. They are currently in intensive care. The attack occurred on the road between Zor Baarin and Khirbet al-Jameh in the town of Baarin, in the Masyaf countryside of western Hama, this afternoon, September 7, 2026.
Eyewitnesses reported that the gunmen returned to the village of Khirbet al-Jameh after carrying out the sectarian attack, under the watch of the terrorist General Security militias. Local sources suggested that the gunmen were working within the ranks of the General Security militias.
This attack is the third of its kind since dawn in the western Hama countryside, indicating a pattern and prior coordination in carrying out the simultaneous attacks.

This incident is not the first of its kind in the village, which has witnessed several sectarian attacks. In addition, another attack occurred at midnight in the village of Kafr Kamra in the Masyaf countryside, resulting in the death of 50-year-old Ghiath Nawfal Suleiman while he was working on his poultry farm. Two days ago, another attack between the villages of al-Qabu and al-Houla resulted in the death of young man Suleiman Kamel Salem.
Sectarian attacks have been frequent this year, perpetrated by militants from the al-Houla area and its surroundings. A large number of attacks have been recorded, including one that resulted in the death of a Shiite man, Muhyiddin Samrou, near al-Houla last month (August).
It is worth noting that the gunmen carrying out the sectarian assassinations work closely with the terrorist General Security militias, which have been observed in several villages in the Hama and Homs countryside. These militias accompany and protect them.

Ghiath Suleiman was from the village of Kafr Kamra and is a member of the Alawite sect.
This murder is part of a larger pattern that has been observed in the Ghab plains where a gradual but persistent effort to dislodge the Alawites from their villages is at play by the Islamist gangs in Hama as part of their comprehensive plan of ethnic cleansing and demographic change.
