Hamit Coskun, 51, an atheist Islamophobe from Turkey, has won a blasphemy case at the High Court overturning his conviction for burning the holy Qur’an outside the Turkish consulate in London last year.
Coskun was originally convicted of religiously aggravated public order for the act, during which he shouted: “F*** Islam” and “Islam is a religion of terrorism”.
Coskun has now successfully appealed the decision by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) after he insists it was a political protest.
The Free Speech Union labelled it a “humiliating defeat” to CPS and called for Stephen Parkinson, the director of public prosecutions, to resign.

#HamitCoskun is a victim of the liberal metropolitan elite who are wilfully ignoring the threat of the Islamists in Western Europe.
Islam is proving to be incompatible in Western democracies.
The Islamists use fear as their main weapon - Mr Coskun has had multiple credible death threats against him - no wonder “Islamophobia” is on the rise!

Isn’t it amazing that @YvetteCooperMP whilst in opposition was able to hold up a poster in Trafalgar Square saying “Je suis Charlie Hebdo”after the Paris Islamist massacre which was a result of perceived blasphemy.
It’s a fact that Hamas, Al Qaeda, the Taliban, ISIS and Boko Haram etc, all find their inspiration and justification for their violence through Islamic texts.
