#Bihar Labourers Allege Assault by Hotel Owners Over Pending Salaries in #Hyderabad
More than ten labourers from Bihar have alleged that they were assaulted by the owners of #HotelRaghavenda in #Hashamabad, #Chandrayangutta, after demanding their pending wages.
According to the workers, they had been employed at the hotel and were residing on the premises. They claimed that salaries for the past two months, amounting to nearly ₹3 lakh, had not been paid.
The labourers alleged that when they asked for their pending wages, the hotel owner, Vinod Reddy, along with his associates, who were allegedly under the influence of alcohol, attacked them with sticks.
The workers further claimed that the owner refused to clear their dues and allegedly threatened them, saying he would rather pay ₹50,000 at the police station and have them sent to jail than pay their pending salaries.
The aggrieved labourers have sought justice and demanded that the authorities take action against those responsible while ensuring that their pending wages are paid.
Police are expected to investigate the allegations and take appropriate action based on the findings.
