A3: In the younger grades, many of our Ss don’t know their student ID# to log into @classlink and other apps so I created a card for each S with their pic, name, and ID#. Some of my Ss use it daily to log in and it has worked out well for us. #tobiasproud #haysedchat
A3: Tech fluency varies greatly among my Ss so instead of class “jobs” we have “ask an expert,” Ss who feel confident with certain apps become “experts” who help other Ss log in, navigate, and use apps...They enjoy being “experts” and I welcome the help! #haysedchat #tobiasproud

A2: I want my ss to feel comfortable and at home but also need to be able to see what they are doing while working/using tech around the room. We keep our IPads/Chromebook up front and they can take what they need and sit anywhere they choose. #tobiasproud #haysedchat
In sessions I’ve been in on classroom design, they call that a coastline set up. The great thing about it is u can monitor what is on all screens while working with other students! #haysedchat
A2: In my classroom I had devices that needed to stay plugged in. So, the devices stayed around the perimeter of the classroom while other group work happened at stations. Learning stations had flexible seating for student choice! Students loved choice! #haysedchat

My iPad has freed me from having to stay near my desk or be married to a desk arrangement. I use @PearDeck the most by opening the T dashboard on that vs a desktop. I also have “hotspots” where Ss that need help staying on task will sit at for closer monitoring 👀#haysedchat

Changing the desk formation in my room was a regular occurrence based on the activity we were doing. Rarely in rows, mostly in pairs, and sometimes in small teams. I love how flexible seating gives Ss a more personalized environment to learn in. #haysedchat
