This kind of scripting is such useful prep for doctor-patient interactions. Brill use of a tweet! I know lots of #ActuallyAutistic find scripting really helpful. Could we collect a range of options for different scenarios? Hashtag? #HealthScripts What has worked for you?

Explaining why you need (e.g) #Fibro dx, when there's no 'cure': "I know it isn't black + white, and dx brings no magic answers from clinical perspective, but access to social/education/employment support relies on medical authority of diagnosis..." Worked for me! #HealthScripts

Patient tips to help doctors to talk about death and dying. Try asking, "Can we talk about palliative care please - in case the treatment doesn't work" - and don't be fobbed off by attempts at reassurance or "we'll cross that bridge when we come to it". Start the conversation!
