There has always been a bad smell to this one - so i went straight to the #hobsonspledge source - Don Brash - i posed a series of questions to Don (ill be addin them to an article i post tomorrow on my LinkedIn - One of those questions involved payments and money - it turns out #corinashields requested money from #hobsonspledge & they obliged in the form of a contribution - how much? we are uncertain. As for the so called "visiting Marae around the North Island" - i believe this to be the #healingthenation Hikoi involving Martel Wikeepa, otherwise known as #shubz - after all the claims that #hobsonspledge didnt pass any funds over comes the truth.
To say the lines have been blurred on this one is an understatement - here we have an organisation raging against #kaupapamaori & now we have individuals amongst #maori who accuse other Māori of being "snakes" when all the while - the obvious was staring right in front of us. It was very obvious. This is the classic "divide and rule" technique with a little bit of "propaganda" mixed with rage baiting - its a strategy waged over time.
Now - all of this has been wrapped in healing - no; much of this has either retraumatised a lot of people or hurt others - all because of what? Anger? lies? Mistruths?
At the moment we have people want to tear our culture apart - needless to say what comes next is distraction techniques "don't look here - look over there" or wrapped up in inferring people are "pedo protectors" or lay silent on things such as child trafficking - when the real story has always been in the misuse of people new found fame on social media to drive our people a part - that's #truth to power

So this sums it up pretty well. Lie upon lie built around a character from central casting and endorsed by the likes of #DuncanGarner #counterspin #CorinaSheilds and #hobsonspledge just to name a few. More lies than #camslater has lost defamation cases. Lied about domestic violences charges pending, lied about a hit job, lied about someone pulling a gun - all while calling people out - not because of some sort of earnest belief in the #kaupapa but for clicks at the expense of others.
And yet the Kaupapa itself, promoting healing is a good one - the problem is the messengers, liars, grifters - and in the case of #shubzlive a weak as man who threatens the mother of his own tamariki - coward.
As for all you #rightwing fundamentaliasts who attached yourselves to this filth fest - hang your mutt heads in collective shame.
