Drive For Hope was the spark that opened our doors.
Back in 1995, the event’s very first proceeds covered the rent for HopeSpring’s original home. For 19 inspiring years it continued to fuel our mission, raising over $2.5 million for HopeSpring.

In February 2024, after more than two years of searching, HopeSpring found its new home at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, located at 54 Benton Street, Kitchener. 🏠

Our previous home, The Inn of Waterloo officially closed its doors on December 10, 2023, due to the financial challenges of a devastating fire & pandemic pressures.

🔥 February 9, 2021: A Day We’ll Never Forget
Tragedy struck our home at The Inn of Waterloo when a severe fire caused over $1 million in damages. We were incredibly grateful that no HopeSpring volunteers or staff at the Inn were injured.
