Revealed: State spending on top consultancy firms nearly triples to €519m ✍️Daniel Murray
The top 10 consultancies that provide services to the state saw their public revenue grow from €193 million in 2019 to €519 million last year.
The top five paid consultants in 2025 were: Deloitte (€94.6m); EY (€90.3m); Turner and Townsend (€88.4m); Accenture (€80.8m); and Arup (€47.3m).
Other top paid consultants included: Aecom (€30.3m); Jacobs Engineering (€23m); BearingPoint (€22.5m); PwC (€21.1m); KPMG (€20.6m); and Grant Thornton (€18.6m).
In total, the relevant companies in the top 10 lists have been paid a cumulative €2.3 billion since 2019.
