I’m Emily and I’m a rising second-year doing English. I was scared of applying to Oxford, partly because my school had never sent anyone to Oxbridge to do English (my teacher didn’t even know that Oxford does interviews lol), and it isn’t my first language.
It sounds kinda cliché, but only when I dispelled my own prejudices was I fully able to embrace everything Exeter and Oxford has to offer; I just wish I realised this sooner!
