UVA running back Solomon Beebe punched his own pit bull. A housekeeper at his apartment complex watched him hold the dog against the wall and hit it with a closed fist. The dog yelped with every strike. Animal control seized the pit bull the next day. Beebe faces three animal cruelty charges. He was released on bond.
