Bible sanctification is a daily walk—
marked by humility and constant growth.
True holiness is not self-exaltation,
but a deeper dependence on Christ.

Humility is sustained by constantly returning to the awe of God, as Apostle John did when he fell at Christ’s feet on Patmos. It allows us to acknowledge our imperfections before the Lord while running our race toward the high calling in Christ. It also reminds us that, apart from Him, we can do nothing, yet through Him, we are empowered to bear fruit. This balance keeps us grounded in grace and living in holy wonder.

"I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You. Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes. " Humility is essential for every Christian who desires to reflect Christ while understanding kingdom identity. True humility recognizes that all we have and are comes from God, not ourselves. As seen in Job's response to God’s overwhelming majesty, humility is not self-deprecation but a clear acknowledgment of God’s greatness compared to our finite nature. An encounter with God transforms perspective, moving the saints from pride to repentance in dust and ashes. It's important to balance the reality of being redeemed, raised, and seated with Christ with the awareness of our ongoing need for God's grace and transformation.

God’s greatness should humbles us, reminding us of our place in His creation. He designed that we should enter His world with nothing and that we should also leave it with nothing. Anything we gain in the world is solely from Him. Even if we wanted to impress God with gifts and services, we have nothing to offer to Him that doesn't belong to Him already.

We are vessels of mercy prepared in advance by God, chosen not because of something we did to merit God's favor but to demonstrate the riches of the Father's grace. Gratitude and humility should mark our walk, not conceit.

"Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth" might still be true today for many Christians when considering where they were born before coming to Christ. Jesus choosing us had nothing too do with our worthiness or what we would benefit him from our natural upbringing, we were chosen by His grace alone to bear lasting fruit and reflect His glory.

Humans are either living for the glory of Jesus Christ or they are living to seek their own glory. The desire to glorify oneself leads to ruin, but seeking to glorify God in all things results in eternal rewards. True humility acknowledges Christ as Lord and as the source of every blessing, giving Him preeminence in all things.

Our talents, wisdom, and success are not self-generated but are given to us by the hand of God. Therefore, let no one glory in their own strength, for it is God who works in us to will and to act according to His good purpose. Not only has our generous Father given us what we did not deserve, He has exceeded what we had asked or imagined.

Day off
Ate breakfast
Finished 3 company business meetings by 10:45 AM.
What to do ?
I can work on #AfterGodsHeart Chapter 7, editing the section of #HumilityBeforeGod for the remainder of the day.
It will be a thriller.
I was able to finish the first 3 sections - and I made it to section 4- the recent teaching on #ReverenceOfGod that triggered the return to #AfterGodsHeart.
I will re-edit for the book.
But do I have the strength to finish that tonight ?
I don't feel ready.

@lizziereezay If we should not flash 💰 at church to temp greed or flaunt expensive jewelry to temp theft, women should refrain from tempting men, especially at mass. The 6th and 9th commandments are as important as the 7th & 10th. #HumilityBeforeGod
