The head of the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Daniel Karbler, told the Senate that one of the Pentagon's two batteries of Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system is ready for deployment in Ukraine. The United States purchased two Iron Dome batteries from Israel to cover its installations in the Middle East and Asia. According to Karbler, the Pentagon is already ready to transfer one battery to Kyiv if there is a request from the Ukrainian authorities and permission from Israel as a manufacturer. It should be noted that back in 2021, Israel took a number of diplomatic steps to prevent the transfer of the Iron Dome to Kyiv.
