✅1. What exactly does the company do?
✅Hy-Tech Engineers designs and manufactures hydraulic fittings.
✅A hydraulic fitting is a relatively small component, but it is critical in hydraulic systems because it connects pipes, tubes and hoses and allows pressurised hydraulic fluid to move without leakage.
✅Think of machines such as:
Excavators
Backhoe loaders
Tractors
Agricultural machinery
Injection-moulding machines
Industrial hydraulic systems
Automotive applications
Railway equipment
Defence equipment
Hy-Tech supplies the fittings used in these systems.
✅The company has been operating in this industry for more than four decades. As of March 2026, it had 11,000+ SKUs.
This IPO trades at a way lower price than its rivals. #HyTechEngineers
Hy Tech Engineers makes hydraulic fittings.
These are small parts.
But cranes, tractors and construction machines use them to move and lift things.
Now here is the interesting part.
Hy Tech listed at a P/E of around 19.6.
Its competitor Aeroflex trades near a P/E of 107.
Dynamatic Technologies trades near 135.
Yuken India trades near 88.
Same industry. Same type of business. But Hy Tech is priced far lower than all of them.
Why so cheap? Let's look at the numbers.
Hy Tech has an EBITDA margin of 22%.
Its ROE was 20% at IPO, higher than its listed rivals.
On debt, it's mixed.
Hy Tech has lower debt than Dynamatic and Yuken.
But Aeroflex runs with almost zero debt.
On paper, the numbers still look strong.
But there are risks too.
Just 10 customers give 45% of its revenue.
If even one leaves, sales can take a hit.
29% of its revenue comes from exports.
Mostly from the USA.
Any forex swing can affect profits.
The company also had a fall in profit in FY24 before recovering in FY25 and FY26.
