A new milestone! Yesterday, Cboe® iBoxx® iShares® $ High Yield Corporate Bond Index Futures (#IBHY) reached record open interest in notional terms: $652m. That's a nearly 6x increase in open interest since the start of 2024 when it was $113m.

2024 saw a significant surge in open interest (OI) for our iBoxx-linked bond futures, reflecting investor demand for tools to trade different segments of the credit ecosystem:
