A5: We are certainly putting an emphasis on making it a focus, especially at the beginning of the year. Talks of revamping our orientation to include sophomores, using HR time for conversations, weaving it into the curriculum. #ILDeanChat

A3: Utilizing the communication app Remind was extremely effective for our deans, social workers, counselors, and attendance clerks. It allowed us to reach students and families and kick start valuable conversations that led to positive interventions. #ILDeanChat

A10. The first day days are hectic (probably fear of the unknown for the best of us)But once we got going, all was smooth sailing. We rarely have any issues. The kids are exciting to be back which can change your mood immediately for the better! Good luck! #ILDeanChat

A8: We've discussed it, and in theory it's a good idea because some much effort does occur on the backend for Hybrid but we've found it difficult to truly monitor and implement. Definitely plenty of conversations with Ss and families surrounding this topic though. #ILDeanChat
