True the song was written when Wim was in 8th grade (13-14 yrs old). Maybe it was environmental and in remembrance of lost deer. Looking at other songs and knowing a little family history, it's possible there is more meaning. #IMASPodcast #rememberwimfaros
Of course, I am an adult. Sometimes, I over think things. My interpretation of this song is the narrator lost someone he cared for (whom he partook with) and is dissociative, taking the loss very hard. #IMASPodcast #rememberwimfaros
Lastly, the use of homophones. When speaking deer and dear sound the same. We also know that Wim was eccentric. His eccentricity could have extended to using homophones in order to express things without seeming needy. #IMASPodcast
Thirdly, the ghost deer not knowing where the trees be. Ghost behavior is theorized that they will follow paths they used in life. This is basis for the theory of why ghosts move through walls. It wouldnt be a stretch to apply this to a ghost deer. #IMASPodcast #rememberwimfaros

My reasoning for #prevtweet. First and foremost is the ending of the song; "Maybe I'm the ghost deer". The narrator is questioning an existence, maybe a dissociation after a traumatic event. And from what we know about Wim, it's a logical conclusion. #IMASPodcast #
