The collapse of #Moscow's empire is inevitable. But into how many parts? Along what borders? The optimal scenario is the number of constituent entities that imperialistic #Russia currently has, and along the borders that already exist.
The #USSR collapsed along the same lines. From 15 former Soviet republics, 15 independent states emerged, using the same borders as in 1991. And overall, this process occurred without any global catastrophes. There was no apocalypse in the post-Soviet space.
We must get used to the idea that in the future, several dozen new states will appear on the political map of the world. And this is the best option.
There is no need to fear that some countries will be small in area or will lack the proverbial "access to the sea." Because the richest country in #Europe🇪🇺 (based on GDP per capita) is #Luxembourg🇱🇺. Moreover, this prosperous and thriving state does not have its own seaport.
The issue of state border status deserves special attention. In #Moscovia's empire, many perceive this issue as closely linked to barbed wire, crowds of border guards, and visa issues. But such a situation only arises around aggressive and authoritarian states. In Europe, on the other hand, you can drive from #Tallinn🇪🇪 to #Lisbon🇵🇹 without encountering a single border guard. However, the route will pass through sovereign states, and not all of them are members of #NATO or the European Union.
In an independent Ingria, the issue of establishing a visa-free regime with #EU countries will be a priority. Furthermore, everything will undoubtedly be done to ensure seamless border crossings with its closest neighbors to the south and east: the #Pskov, #Novgorod, #Murmansk & #Karelia republics💪

October 4-5 is traditionally celebrated as #Ingria Day🎯
One of the most well-known versions of the origin of the name Ingria is linked to the name of Princess Ingigerd. This Swedish princess married the #Kyiv's Prince Yaroslav the Wise. It's quite possible that, under the terms of the marriage contract (albeit oral), the income from the lands in the southern Gulf of #Finland and around the Neva were transferred to her control. Subsequently, these territories began to be named after the famous princess. At least, so the legend goes.
In Veliky #Novgorod, Ingigerd was venerated as the city's patroness. However, under the name Anna, which she adopted after becoming a nun. The veneration of Anna (Ingigerd) of Novgorod began in the 15th century. Her feast day was celebrated on October 4.
After the #Muscovites destroyed the Veche Republic, veneration of the famous princess ceased in Veliky Novgorod. But the Finnish-speaking residents of Ingria who had been baptized into Orthodoxy remembered it. Later, the tradition of celebrating Ingria Day in early October was adopted by the Lutheran Finns who settled there. However, the date shifted to October 5th. Celebrations continued until the 1920s.
The tradition of celebrating Ingria Day was revived in the late 1980s. Activists of the "Free Ingria" movement gathered and openly celebrated under Ingrian flags.
In the future Independent Ingria, this day will be a public holiday✌️
