Early this month it became apparent that the country could lose at least 5.7 billion shillings in maize that was procured late last year after the Kenya Bureau of Standards declared 63% of it unfit for human consumption. #InsideNCPB @SamGituku

NCPB Moi’s Bridge silos are the newest, built in 1992. NCPB says they have a 5-year plan to upgrade their silos, but that requires funds which they say they have not yet received #InsideNCPB @SamGituku
