#IPCWebinar In being ready for COVID we've seen drop in other infections. So why not continue with all precautions we introduced for COVID?
We'll still use masks
We'll make sure windows are open and doors are open
We'll look at CO2 levels in ward
We'll use air scrubbers & more
#IPCWebinar Jay: We work is silos because that's how our trust is position at the moment. We need to get a lot better at sharing and learn what's worked for others and also share what's worked well for us. . #KnowledgeShare in #HealthCare & #IPC
#IPCWebinar Jay: We waited for PHE guidance coming out and then we adapted the advice locally. All staff were trained to look at and agree to guidance and not just me. Newsletters being sent out, housekeepers meetings, tick lists for ward managers were deployed to pass guidance
#IPCWebinar Jay: For us it was important to look at what makes a difference at the moment. Using different audits differently depending on where we had COVID patients and where we had other kinds of patients.
#IPCWebinar All kinds of data was required. @helenh49 How did you keep BAU going with audits on response to pandemic. @Lindajdempster Its about slim lining the pack, focus on things that matter. For example checking commode every week may not be as imp as #PPE stock
