Born in Tajpur, Bihar; Suryavanshi symbolizes the rise of small town and rural India. One which cannot wait for the spotlight to swing around its way, but just pulls out a smartphone and turns on the camera. A generation in a hurry which has no time for pause. Ready to erupt from the very first ball. In a sense, completely go for it or perish whilst trying. Sure, sterner tests lie for this precocious young talent ahead-Vaibhav and for others not named Vaibhav as well. But there is an innate confidence this group shows, that no matter what is thrown their way, they will knock it out of the park. And that’s the beauty of cricket. Strain a little harder and you can see so many larger narratives developing. There are cerebral Power Plays lurking in virtually every moment!
