Biafra Atonement 2026: IPOB’s Annual Day of Fasting and Confession Falls on 21 September https://t.co/MZczVsqE1l This article is a reminder of IPOB’s annual Day of Atonement, set for 21 September 2026. It presents the observance as a standing spiritual tradition in the Biafra campaign: a day of fasting, confession, and public prayer rather than a one-off rally. The centre of the piece is healing. In the movement’s own language, Biafra cannot be restored while the land and the people remain unhealed. Atonement is therefore framed as the yearly reset humility before Chukwu Okike Abiama, repentance for ancestral and present sins, and a plea that God forgive, cleanse holy places, and mend what war, betrayal, and abandoned commandments have broken.

When we requested Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to disassociate us, and himself from the crimes of Ekperima, instead Mazi Nnamdi Kanu used everything against us. The blackmails against us from Mazi Nnamdi Kanu at some point became unbearable. The DOS sponsored several investigation in East Africa; from Ethiopia and Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda, the route Mazi Nnamdi Kanu followed all through before his kidnap. I personally, ensured that these investigation were thoroughly carried out and as I speak, I have a lot of classified information on my table and I have refused to make them public. This is where Simon Ekpa explained his methods. He criticised IPOB for its peaceful approach and stated that he pursues a violent strategy, irrespective of the views of the United States, Britain, or anyone else. " If you are afraid of being tagged a terrorist you are not ready for freedom, if you are afraid of being tagged criminal you are not ready for freedom" He said it is time to make a dangerous decisions that would help his approach which could also be a mistake. Hear him.

NNAMDI KANU REALLY MESSED UP BY FOLLOWING THAT ADVICE. Before this, even with the DOS still in charge we’d hear “MNK SAY” and people listened. But after MNK fake dissolving of the DOS and brought in unknown faces, he shot himself in the foot. The authority he once had—when “MNK SAY” carried weight even without DOS interference—is gone. Now his words will no longer land the same, and he’s the one losing relevance. It’s sad he did this to himself.
