Big take away from student panel: faculty please use dues dates in the D2L calendar for every task! Each student stressed the importance of the calendar for being successful. #itcelearning2020

- online group projects can quickly become a "nightmare" & "go south"
- there's "no such thing" as too much feedback on their submissions
- some students want access to assignments and instructor comments after the class is over

- students think some faculty under-use LMS functions
- some students rely on LMS calendar and wish all due dates appear there

Still noodling over feedback. Our student panel experts didn't surprise me. I continue to hear: timeliness is key so they can improve before the next assignment is due, instructors can't ever give too much feedback, and students welcome audio and video feedback.#ITCeLearning2020
