Al Pacino's performance for #IntheHandofDante gives it an awesome moral complexity that probes the question of creativity and confession that is the heart/point of the film. Director #JulianSchnabel can't sustain it, yet it is one of the wonders of this film era. @netflix

The Al Pacino and Martin Scorsese scenes make Julian Schnabel's "In the Hand of Dante" a must-see event. They impart profundity to the film's search for wisdom and Schnabel's striving for art in a culturally and morally bereft era. @netflix #julianschnabel #inthehandofdante

#InTheHandOfDante Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Julian Schnabel liefert mit 'In the Hand of Dante' keinen gewöhnlichen Thriller und kein klassisches Historiendrama. Ja, 'In the Hand of Dante' verlangt viel Geduld und Aufmerksamkeit.

#IntheHandofDante is a bizarre, overlong, aimless, pretentious & boring misfire from Julian Schnabel. It looks great & Oscar Isaac gives it his all but this is an absolute slog to get through that feels like it’ll never end. The cast ranges from solid to comedically awful (Gadot)
