The Indlulamithi scenarios are not a once-off exercise. Each year, we track how the scenarios are unfolding in real-time. #IndlulamithiScenarios2035 #IndlulamithiBarometer
The 2023 #IndlulamithiBarometer presents shifting indicators. Upward shifts are largely related to recovery from #COVID-era challenges (some temporary shifts rather than changing underlying conditions). Downward shifts are fundamental structural challenges for the country.
The 2023 #IndlulamithiBarometer shows that #SouthAfrica continues to move deeper into the GG+ scenario, marking a continued decline in #SocialCohesion levels. The percentage of indicators in the #NayiLeWalk scenario has also improved.
