🚨Don’t stop talking about Iran. “Come here. Give me one last kiss and one last hug.” Those words hit differently when you know there would never be another one. On January 9, 2026, Ali Estakhr kissed his mother for the last time, walked out the door, and never came home. According to the account shared with this video, he was shot in the head and killed. His mother could not have known that the kiss she gave her son that day would become the last kiss of her life. The last time she would feel his arms around her. The last time she would watch him walk away. A mother should never have to spend the rest of her life wishing she had held her child for just a few seconds longer. Ali was one individual life amid the enormous bloodshed of those days, when activists have cited a toll of more than 100,000 Iranians killed in just two days, a figure that remains disputed and difficult to independently verify. Behind that number are thousands of moments like this: a final kiss, a final hug, a door closing, and a mother waiting for a son who will never walk through it again. ALI ESTAKHR. KISSED HIS MOTHER. WALKED OUT THE DOOR. SHOT IN THE HEAD. NEVER CAME HOME. Remember his name. Remember that last kiss. Never forget Ali Estakhr.
