Personal Accident (-9%), motor commercial (-3%) and medical insurance (-0.71%) recorded negative growth. Medical insurance had the highest net claims of Ksh.20.56 billion (14% increase) followed by motor private and motor commercial - @AKI_Kenya #InsuranceIndustryStatistics2017

Interesting @AKI_Kenya Association of Kenya Insurers #InsuranceIndustryStatistics2017 stats - on agriculture insurance. Gross written premium was Ksh 822 Million in 2017 (a 50% growth) while agriculture claims incurred were Ksh.820 Million (Crops 621M and Livestock 199M).
