The uMkhonto weSizwe Party's Polokwane Sub-Region says the way Polokwane Executive Mayor, John Mpe dismissed a community member's question during a recent #IntegratedDevelopmentPlan consultation session, reflects a disturbing disregard for the voices of the people of the municipality. The incident was captured in a video clip doing rounds on social media, and the municipality has since come out to say the context of Mpe's remarks was distorted. The municipality says the mayor was addressing a disruptive individual in the audience and the clip omits the broader context of the discussion. OK
