#Intelsky #OSINT Analysis: Hezbollah Drone Size Estimation
Using image analysis, we estimated the size of a Hezbollah drone that allegedly targeted Netanyahu's residence in Caesarea, south of Tel Aviv. The Apache (18m in length) measured 150 pixels, while the drone measured 40 pixels in the same image, giving a ratio of 0.267. The drone’s estimated length is approximately 4.8 meters.
Calculation: (40/150) x 18m = 4.8m

#IntelSky: 🚨 🇮🇷 Aviation News: #Iran Modifies Air Routes and Warns of #GPS Disruptions Amid Rising Tensions
#Tehran, August 5, 2024 — In a significant move, Iran has announced updates to its air traffic services (ATS) routes, which may be linked to rising geopolitical tensions in the region. The latest NOTAM (A2353/22) issued by Iranian aviation authorities details the establishment of new RNAV5 routes across the country. These changes, effective immediately, include the following ATS routes: R659, R654, G666, G669, W10, W143, A788, and G452.
Key Changes:
- New ATS Routes:
- The routes R659, R654, G666, G669, W10, W143, A788, and G452 will now be available as RNAV5 routes, offering enhanced navigation accuracy and safety.
- These routes cover significant airspace over central, southern, and western Iran, impacting both domestic and international flights.
GPS Disruption Warning:
In addition to the new air routes, Iran has issued a NOTAM (A1113/24) warning of potential GPS (GNSS) failures or degradation within the Tehran FIR (Flight Information Region). This warning is critical for pilots and aviation operators who rely on GPS for navigation and operational efficiency. Pilots are advised to report any anomalies or degraded performance to air traffic control (ATC) immediately.
This strategic update comes amid escalating tensions between Iran and Israel. Recent developments suggest that these changes in air routes and the GPS disruption warning could be part of Iran’s broader response to perceived threats from Israel. The modification of air routes and the alert about GPS reliability might be intended to enhance Iran's defensive posture and ensure the security of its airspace.
- Pilots and airline operators are advised to familiarize themselves with the new routes and update their flight plans accordingly.
- The new RNAV5 routes offer improved navigation capabilities, which are crucial for maintaining efficiency and safety in the region’s busy airspace.
- Awareness of potential GPS disruptions is essential for ensuring the continuity of safe flight operations.
For more detailed information on the new routes and their operational implications, as well as the GPS disruption warning, aviation stakeholders are encouraged to review the full NOTAMs A2353/22 and A1113/24 and consult with Iranian aviation authorities.

#IntelSky: Several Countries Urge Their Citizens to Leave #Lebanon Amid Escalating Tensions
Amid escalating tensions in the region, several countries have issued urgent calls for their citizens to leave Lebanon immediately. This comes in response to increased security concerns and ongoing conflicts involving #Hezbollah and "#Israeli".
#Germany has advised its nationals to depart Lebanon as soon as possible due to the deteriorating security situation. Similarly, the #UnitedStates Embassy in Beirut has urged American citizens to leave the country without delay, highlighting the rapidly changing security environment and potential disruptions to travel.
The Kingdom of #SaudiArabia reiterated its previous warnings, emphasizing the necessity for Saudi nationals to comply with the travel ban to Lebanon and leave the country immediately. #France also renewed its advisory, urging French citizens to avoid traveling to Lebanon and to leave the region promptly to avoid any potential risks associated with the escalating conflict.
Other countries, including #Italy, #Norway, #Sweden, and #Jordan, have issued similar advisories. The Italian Foreign Ministry has encouraged its citizens to leave Lebanon without delay, while the Norwegian Embassy in Beirut has reminded its nationals of the heightened risk and advised them to depart immediately. The Swedish Foreign Minister reiterated the urgent need for Swedish nationals to avoid travel to #Beirut and leave the country. Jordan has also emphasized the importance of caution and adherence to security instructions, urging its citizens to leave Lebanon promptly due to the volatile situation.
The situation remains fluid, and these advisories underscore the gravity of the security threats in Lebanon, prompting swift action from multiple nations to ensure the safety of their citizens.

#IntelSky: Easing of Interceptions Has Multiple Reasons:
1. Cost reduction: Intercepting fewer threats reduces expenses.
2. Strategic vulnerability: Allowing border sites to be targeted by Hezbollah could provide Israel with justification for retaliatory actions within Lebanon.
3. Tit-for-tat strategy: From an Israeli perspective, this exchange is economically and militarily favorable.
4. Avoiding full-scale war: As long as the conflict is contained to a limited area, the risk of a wider war is minimized.
5. Intelligence gathering: Allowing some attacks reveals Hezbollah’s capabilities, helping Israel to adjust its defensive and offensive strategies. Despite considering itself advanced, Israel acknowledges that Hezbollah is continuously evolving.
Given these considerations, Israel may see the coming hours as the right moment to fully deploy its Iron Dome systems if they decide to escalate. If not, the situation in the northern front will likely remain unchanged.

"Tel Aviv - Beirut Line 'Operational'!
In a repeated violation of Lebanese aviation protocols, #IntelSky, which monitors air traffic, recorded the landing of a British Airbus (A400M Atlas, registered as ZM416 with the call sign RRR4986) at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut yesterday, coming directly from Tel Aviv. The landing of the aircraft is considered a breach of Lebanese sovereignty and Lebanon's policy of refusing to accept aircraft that come directly from the enemy entity without landing in a third country. Since October 7 last year, there has been active and suspicious movement of foreign military aircraft making trips between Beirut Airport and the Hamat Air Base belonging to the Lebanese Army, and between military bases in the region, including Tel Aviv Airport. This raises questions about the purposes of these flights and the nature of their cargo, while official and security authorities in Lebanon remain silent, except for a solitary statement by the army on November 10 last year, indicating that 'part of this movement is routine for transporting military aid to the army,' the nature of the other part remains unknown.

Military aircraft activity intensifies over the Eastern Mediterranean. These results, as captured by our specialized equipment in Lebanon, have a reach of up to 900 km and do not rely on any external sources.
