Different resolutions/parameters of the carving system + point meshes orientation.
The striped patterns show off well the skin like nature of the point cloud data, especially with the volumetric lighting + shadows being affect by it all.

Tried using just low res trail while making it fully lit + casting shadows.
The combination of low res point cloud + orientation based on normals + scaling makes for a really cool look: it shows off the "hollowness" of the bodies and flow of the surfaces.

The next step was to render the points as individually lit full 3D cubes with normals based orientation + trying out Cinemachine to automatically track and follow the point cloud dancers.
