This week is #IowaAgWeek! Iowa is the leading producer of corn, pigs, eggs, and ethanol, with the agriculture industry employing nearly 1 in 5 Iowans.🌽🐷🚜
2nd stop for @USDA @SecRollins was a diversified family farm in Dallas County. Iowa is a national leader in crop and livestock production and ag drives the economy of our state. Also joining Secretary Rollins was @MikeNaigIA, @IAGovernor, @ZachNunn and @RepMMM. #IowaAgWeek
Iowa leads the nation in ethanol production and its great to show @SecRollins how homegrown, cleaner burning and lower cost biofuels can be part of @POTUS plan to make our country energy dominant. #IowaAgWeek
@SecRollins announced @USDA is releasing $537 million in biofuels infrastructure grants to fund 543 projects in 29 states, including Iowa. These grants will ensure gas stations can upgrade equipment so that drivers save money with biofuels with every fill-up. #IowaAgWeek

Ranking second in the nation for soybean 🚜 production, Iowa produces nearly 14% of the total 🇺🇸 U.S. #soybeans. These versatile soybeans are crushed into two components—meal and oil—to create a variety of products. The high #protein and amino acid content of soybean meal make it an ideal #feed source for 🐷🐮🐔 #livestock. Soybean #oil is used to create everyday products, including cooking oil, ⛽ #biodiesel, tires, 📖 ink and much more.
