India is developing an indigenous Long-Range Dual-Band Infrared Search & Track (#IRST) system for the IAF’s Su-30MKI fleet.
Jointly developed by HAL & BEL, the system is intended to replace the legacy Russian OLS-30 optical/infrared sensor.

The system is being developed under India’s MAKE-II framework and could become a key component of the future “Super Sukhoi” upgrade.
