BTC-margined open interest fell from 741,500 BTC on October 10 to 645,600 BTC.
ETH-margined open interest dropped from 13.535 million ETH to 11.6745 million ETH.
Solana (SOL)-margined open interest declined from 67.1475 million SOL to 52.7793 million SOL.
BNB-margined open interest decreased from 2.1553 million BNB to 1.784 million BNB.

Today marks the 10th anniversary of Ethereum’s genesis block. The previously launched "The Torch" NFT has officially been burned, symbolizing a decade of contributions and legacy from the Ethereum community. Meanwhile, all users can now mint a commemorative NFT for free for a limited time, with minting open until July 31 at 24:00 (UTC+8).
At the same time, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced that the stablecoin issuer regulatory regime will officially take effect on August 1, 2025, and released several related documents, including: Guideline on Authorization of Stablecoin Issuers, Guideline on AML/CFT for Licensed Stablecoin Issuers, Summary of the Licensing Regime for Stablecoin Issuers, and Summary of Transitional Provisions for Existing Issuers.
The HKMA stated that once the regime takes effect, all market participants must fully comply with the Stablecoin Ordinance and the relevant guidelines.
Institutions interested in applying for a license are encouraged to contact the HKMA before August 31, and those ready to apply should submit their applications by September 30 at the latest. The HKMA also reminded the public that no stablecoin issuer licenses have been granted yet, and warned against any claims of being licensed or in the process of being licensed.
In response to public concerns about real-name requirements for stablecoin holders, Legislative Council member Duncan Chiu stated that while the HKMA does plan to introduce KYC requirements, the specific implementation is still being designed, and real-name identity verification is not the only option. Stablecoin issuers must submit detailed compliance proposals to the HKMA for approval before implementation. He also noted that regulations for stablecoins will be stricter than for cash transactions, especially in terms of identity verification and anti-money laundering.
