Today, Bitcoin remained in a high-level consolidation, trading around $119,500, with intraday fluctuations between $119,000 and $120,200, and a gain of less than 0.5%. In contrast, Ethereum showed significantly stronger performance, breaking above the $4,500 mark intraday and reaching a high of $4,674, an increase of nearly 8%. Market sentiment has notably warmed, driven by institutional buying and favorable capital inflows.
In addition, Vance Spencer, co-founder of Framework Ventures, stated that Bitmine and Sharplink are expected to jointly purchase $20–40 billion worth of ETH in 2025. Most of these funds will flow into the on-chain lending market, attracting stablecoin circulation or yield farming, potentially becoming the largest active capital injection in DeFi history.
Meanwhile, Solana announced that CMB International, a leading asset management firm in Asia, successfully tokenized its flagship fund on the Solana blockchain with the support of DigiFT and OnChain, making it the world’s first Solana on-chain public fund. The product is issued to qualified investors in Singapore and is deployed across Solana, Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Plume public blockchains. It supports both fiat and stablecoin subscriptions/redemptions and enables real-time redemption via smart contracts.
On the macroeconomic side, Nomura economists predict that due to a weakening labor market and declining inflationary pressures, the Federal Reserve will begin cutting rates by 25 basis points in September, followed by another 25 basis points in December and in March next year. While there is some disagreement on the exact timing, the market generally expects the easing cycle to begin soon, potentially providing new liquidity support to the crypto market.
