Yesterday, momentum from the recent rebound in the crypto market began to fade, with overall price action turning weaker. Bitcoin briefly dipped to $90,736, while Ethereum retraced to $3,123. Risk appetite cooled noticeably as capital shifted into a wait-and-see mode. According to Sean Farrell, Head of Digital Asset Strategy at Fundstrat, Bitcoin remains “on track” to reach $1 million over the long term, supported by strong structural tailwinds across high-quality crypto assets. However, he expects 2026 to be a classic “trader’s market,” with a potential risk-clearing event in the first half that could significantly amplify volatility.
In terms of market timing, Farrell notes that such a clearing phase could trigger a deep pullback, with Bitcoin potentially revisiting the $60,000 range—representing a deep value zone and a “buy with both hands” opportunity. In the second half of the year, improving liquidity conditions, policy support, and AI-driven growth dynamics are expected to create a high-quality rebound window. For Ethereum, Farrell highlights that ETH is increasingly viewed by traditional asset managers as a “small-cap tech stock of crypto,” positioned to benefit directly from the RWA tokenization narrative. With RWA activity growing 145% year-over-year in Q3 2025, higher-quality assets are flowing into DeFi, strengthening Ethereum’s value capture, with a year-end target around $4,500.
Regarding Solana, Farrell believes SOL will compete with Ethereum for RWA-related market share, though it currently lacks broad-based support from traditional asset managers. Its key advantages lie in high throughput, major protocol upgrades such as Alpenglow and Firedancer, and the potential for reduced inflation. Price expectations suggest a pullback to the $50–75 range in Q1/Q2, followed by a rebound toward $220–260. Overall, the post–risk-clearing phase could create a “perfect cocktail” for altcoins. Once ETH begins to outperform BTC, projects with sound token economics and genuine traction—particularly those tied to the RWA theme—may deliver significant outperformance.

BTC and ETH have recently remained in a range-bound but weakening trend, with overall market momentum continuing to fade. On December 25, Galaxy Securities noted that stronger-than-expected economic growth has led CME Watch data to show a noticeable narrowing in market expectations for a rate cut in January 2026.
Following the data release, Fed chair frontrunner Kevin Hassett stated that current growth momentum is driven by falling inflation, rising incomes, and improving sentiment. He noted that if GDP growth holds near 4%, monthly job gains could return to the 100,000–150,000 range, while also acknowledging that the Fed has been clearly lagging behind economic conditions. Structurally, Q3 growth largely reflected the fading of inventory and trade distortions, and does not reverse the trend of softening employment. With jobs becoming the policy focus and the Fed leadership decision approaching, around three rate cuts remain possible in 2026.
Meanwhile, at the recent Eastern Economic Forum in Russia, one of President Putin’s closest advisers suggested that the U.S. may attempt to systematically devalue its $37 trillion national debt through cryptocurrencies and stablecoins. The idea is to shift part of sovereign debt into a crypto-based system — a so-called “crypto cloud” — effectively resetting the financial framework and passing the cost to the rest of the world. While controversial, this thinking echoes earlier views from MicroStrategy founder Michael Saylor, who once proposed selling all U.S. gold reserves to buy Bitcoin, aiming to demonetize gold and strengthen U.S. dominance over the next global reserve capital and currency system.

BS Premium Interactive Tasks #Issue78 🎯
The latest U.S. economic data shows that the labor market remains strong. The number of initial jobless claims for the week ending November 29 fell to 191,000, significantly lower than the expected 220,000, marking a new two-year low. Following the data release, the market has increased the probability of a Federal Reserve rate cut in December to 89.2%, with the probability of maintaining rates unchanged at just 10.8%.
At the same time, the U.S. continues to face fiscal pressures. The total U.S. sovereign debt has surpassed $30 trillion for the first time, with the outstanding amounts in Treasury bills, medium-term, and long-term bonds reaching $30.2 trillion, pushing the total national debt to $38.4 trillion. While the fiscal deficit has narrowed, it is still expected to reach $1.78 trillion in the 2025 fiscal year, and interest payments on the debt will amount to $1.2 trillion.
The market is also closely watching the upcoming inflation data. The U.S. September core PCE year-on-year data will be released on Friday evening (Beijing time), with an expected value of 2.9%, the same as the previous month. This data will influence the Fed’s policy direction at the end of the year.
On the other hand, the Bank of Japan may be heading toward a new round of rate hikes. Bank of America economists suggest that the Bank of Japan might raise rates from 0.5% to 0.75% at its December meeting, with expectations for semi-annual rate hikes until 2027.
Overall, while the U.S. job market remains strong, the rising debt risks are becoming more apparent. Japan is gradually exiting its ultra-loose monetary policy. With multiple factors at play, upcoming data releases and policy statements over the next few weeks will be key references for global investors when assessing the outlook for 2026.

This Thursday, a series of important macroeconomic data will be released, including the U.S. September unemployment rate, seasonally adjusted non-farm payrolls for September, and initial jobless claims for the week ending November 15. On the same day, the Federal Reserve will release the minutes of its latest monetary policy meeting, and Nvidia will report its Q3 earnings, with its data and outlook seen as another key factor potentially influencing market risk sentiment.
The UK High Court will hold a hearing on November 17 regarding the 60,000 BTC involved in the Qin Zhimin case. These bitcoins were purchased at an average price of RMB 2,815 and have now appreciated by about 266 times, drawing significant market attention to how the court's decision might affect related fund flows and market sentiment.
Coinbase has officially launched an end-to-end token sale platform and will conduct the first public sale of the Monad token from November 17 to 22. The platform uses a "bottom-up" allocation algorithm, meaning it prioritizes smaller participants, offering a fairer opportunity to participate—a key feature of this sale.
Coinglass data shows that open interest in ZEC futures has risen to 2.0971 million, with a market value of approximately $1.506 billion, hitting a historic high, indicating a significant increase in market activity for ZEC.
Additionally, https://t.co/2wfJGNlcEZ has indicated that a rebound window may open next week, though overall fear remains. The market is especially focused on Bitcoin’s key support level at $90,000, and whether it can hold this level may play a crucial role in determining the short-term price direction.

According to today’s CCTV news report, the U.S. Senate failed to pass the 2025 Fiscal Year Continuing Appropriations and Extension Act on October 28th. The vote was 54 to 45. The bill aimed to restore government operations but did not meet the 60-vote threshold, meaning the U.S. government shutdown will continue.
At the same time, the U.S. Federal Reserve is expected to announce its interest rate decision tonight (October 29th). The market anticipates the Fed will lower interest rates by 25 basis points, with a 99.4% probability. There is also a 91.3% probability that the Fed will reduce rates by another 50 basis points in December. The next two FOMC meetings are on October 29th and December 10th.
In political news, former President Donald Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One that he acknowledges the U.S. Constitution prohibits him from seeking a third term. Trump stated, “As far as I know, I am not allowed to run, so we’ll see what happens. Although this is my best performance in years, I still believe there are many excellent candidates.”
In the cryptocurrency market, the “AI Crypto Trading Competition” continues to fluctuate. Yesterday, the market saw a pullback, and AI models holding long positions in BTC and ETH saw a general decline in profits.
