The crypto market remained under significant pressure today, with a sharp sell-off across major assets. Bitcoin briefly fell below $62,000, hitting its lowest level since February and triggering large-scale liquidations. Market data shows that more than $1.8 billion in positions were liquidated over the past 24 hours, marking one of the largest single-day liquidation events in recent months, with long positions accounting for the majority. Ethereum and major altcoins also declined, reflecting a clear deterioration in market sentiment.
Despite the broader market weakness, AI-related tokens such as Worldcoin (WLD) have shown relative strength, continuing to attract capital even during the downturn. This has brought renewed attention to sectors including AI Agents, decentralized computing, and AI infrastructure. As artificial intelligence technology continues to advance, the AI + Crypto narrative remains one of the industry's most important long-term themes.
The Grayscale Hyperliquid Staking ETF (HYPG) officially began trading today. With a 0.29% management fee, the product provides investors with exposure to HYPE spot holdings and staking rewards, making it one of the more cost-efficient options available in the U.S. market. As one of the fastest-growing on-chain derivatives ecosystems over the past year, Hyperliquid continues to attract strong institutional and market interest, and the ETF launch further expands investment access to the ecosystem.

2️⃣ SUI Group disclosed holdings of 108.7 million SUI, with most tokens already staked and generating yield. Fueled by the news, $SUI surged over 25% in the past 24 hours, with 7-day gains nearing 45% as market sentiment continued to strengthen.

BS Premium Interactive Tasks #Issue97 🎯
Today, the U.S. political landscape saw another meaningful step forward in stablecoin legislation. The U.S. Senate has reportedly reached a preliminary compromise on one of the key issues — whether stablecoins should be allowed to offer interest payments. The market views this as a signal that the U.S. crypto regulatory framework is gradually taking shape. As a result, stablecoins, exchanges, and compliant finance-related sectors broadly moved higher, with investors once again trading the narrative of “institutional capital returning to the market.”
At the same time, the market has begun pricing in a potential shift in Federal Reserve policy. As U.S. economic data continues to weaken and risk assets remain under pressure, traders are increasingly betting on interest rate cuts within the year. The crypto market is now extremely sensitive to macro liquidity conditions, with BTC and ETH price action increasingly tracking U.S. Treasury yields and the U.S. dollar index. Some analysts believe the market has already entered a phase of “pricing in future monetary easing,” which is also one of the key reasons behind BTC’s recent resilience.
Overnight, easing signals in U.S.-Iran relations helped improve overall risk sentiment, pushing Bitcoin briefly to its highest level in nearly three months. Traditional financial institutions believe this rally is being driven more by recovering macro risk appetite than by pure crypto-native narratives. In other words, BTC is increasingly behaving like a global liquidity and risk sentiment proxy rather than simply a speculative crypto asset.
Meanwhile, the stablecoin market continues to hit record highs. Latest data shows that the global stablecoin market capitalization is approaching $320 billion, while jurisdictions including the U.S., Hong Kong, Japan, and the U.K. are all advancing stablecoin regulatory frameworks simultaneously. The market widely believes that what will truly push the industry into its next phase in 2026 will no longer be Meme coins or single-chain narratives, but rather the expansion of the “on-chain dollar system” driven by stablecoins, RWA, and the integration of traditional finance.
This week, BS recommends keeping an eye on and participating in the following interactive tasks:

This week’s featured picks: $ASTER, $RIVER, $ZEC
Bitcoin remains trading above $74,000 today, reaching an intraday high of $74,597, with a 24-hour gain of approximately 0.8–1%, continuing this week’s rebound trend. Although geopolitical tensions in the Middle East continue to drive oil price volatility, repeated statements from the Trump administration that “the conflict will end soon” have helped ease market fears and improve risk sentiment. Bitcoin has shown relative resilience, supported by continued institutional ETF inflows and holding the key $73,000 support level. However, it is still influenced by U.S. Treasury yields and anticipation ahead of the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision tonight. If a hawkish dot plot suppresses rate-cut expectations, a short-term pullback may occur.
On the regulatory front, the biggest highlight is that the SEC and CFTC have signed a memorandum of understanding to launch a joint harmonization initiative. This aims to unify frameworks for digital asset definitions, product classifications, clearing rules, and reporting requirements, reducing regulatory overlap. This move aligns with the Trump administration’s pro-crypto stance and is viewed as a major positive by the market, pushing Bitcoin and Ethereum up more than 10% this week. Meanwhile, a Senate housing bill including a clause to permanently ban the Federal Reserve from issuing a CBDC until 2030 has been passed, with improving prospects in the House. This further alleviates concerns about CBDC competition and is positive for the long-term development of stablecoins and DeFi.
Stablecoin regulation is also accelerating: the OCC, under the GENIUS Act, is seeking feedback on a payment stablecoin framework, emphasizing 1:1 high-quality reserves (USD or short-term Treasuries), monthly disclosures, and the ability to freeze or burn tokens. Implementation details are expected before July. Senators Alsobrooks and Tillis are pushing a compromise on stablecoin yield mechanisms to prevent bank deposit outflows while allowing some incentives, intensifying competition between the banking and crypto sectors. The FDIC is also considering prohibiting stablecoins from benefiting from pass-through deposit insurance, highlighting regulators’ efforts to balance innovation and risk.
Institutional products continue to expand: BlackRock’s iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF is operating smoothly, with staking yields attracting institutional demand for returns. Nasdaq has also listed a new Bitcoin tail-risk ETF, while infrastructure providers like Anchorage are strengthening institutional positioning. Although some investment banks have lowered price forecasts due to geopolitical and macro uncertainties, ETF inflows and improved regulatory clarity remain the primary drivers. The market expects that if the Federal Reserve meeting does not deliver unexpected hawkish signals, risk assets—including crypto—could see another round of sentiment recovery.
