In this spot (place was torn down and rebuilt years ago) in #Bordighera (my birthplace, too), Field Marshal Luigi Cadorna died on 21 December 1928, at the age of 78 years.

Another shelter was the Russian cave (Ruska jama). It was named so bc 1200 Russian POWs were supposedly housed there. They had to work for Austria-Hungary in the surrounding area during #WW1. Unfortunately video sound quality is poor.
