Day1
- Revised redis and it's commands
- Implement redis cache
- Create waitlist for #proxlay using react, tailwind css and shadcn, motio. Used firebase to save emails
- Uploaded bundled files to s3
- Distributing using Cloudfront
- Created SSL Certificate and pointed custom URL to Cloudfront
Also I saw a weird thing with cache.
I created 2 GET endpoints
- one that returns data directly from postgres
- and second one returns from redis cache if data is not cached it cached it and returns
- the problem is postgres return response times i faster then redis cache, even when data is cached. And there is no other things that slowing this down. It's kinda weird.
I first run both redis, and postgres on my local using docker.
Also I tried https://t.co/HbqUGMvuhf and rediscloud, in both the cases somehow postgres response was faster. Ideally it shouldn't happen. I'll research on it. If you guys know, I'd love to know
