Kids aren’t robots. If they feel ill, exhausted, or physically hurt, let them recover. They can get caught up.
Perfect attendance and constant pressure to be at school are not worth risking their mental health and well-being for. They’re just children.

My child has PTSD. They’re fourteen years old. They’re suicidal, they self harm, they have frequent nightmares and feel unsafe in their own skin. At fourteen years old.
It’s 100% the fault of the mainstream school system. Fuck attendance policies.
