Well based on what I'm hearing from my #healthcare providers, I'll need to cancel my trip for next weekend and possibly the week after.

Immunotherapy like #IVIG is not a magic wand, and not always appropriate. It is known to work for specific types of post-viral and complex disease, and becomes worth it in severe and progressive cases. But those cases SHOULD have access. #Care4Complex
@rachioella It really depends what is going on, like what phenotype you have. IVIG is very effective for people with inflammatory/autoimmune neuropathy and dysautonomia, so if that is the primary issue then yes absolutely.
Just your regular reminder: I advocate for immunotherapy access for treatments like #IVIG + #Vyvgart (especially in Canada) because it’s effective, not because it’s accessible. I know it’s virtually impossible to access. It shouldn’t be like this. #Care4ComplexCanada
@lesiawaschuk @manruipa It is extremely difficult in Canada, and restricted to those who are very severe, refractory to symptom management meds, and have fairly overt symptoms (and preferably hard evidence) of progressive autonomic and small fiber neuropathy.
